Sand Castles (Oneiromancy)

As young kids we play with our hopes
As they play with gold sand
To build their precious castles
To open imaginary doors

Step by step, stone by stone
These goals of mine completed
With every effort, with every emotion
As colours shape to sceneries

Don't dream with doubts
They'll make you fall apart
Don't fear illusive failure
Its what will make you believe

Even if the wind blows those castles made on sand

Maybe my ambitions will fade with time
Maybe all the efforts will end up as sand
But what does it matter?
If I enjoyed the glow of a setting sun

Another journey to a destiny
