Melancholic Euphoria

While Melancholy overcomes me
Euphoria takes me in imaginary places
Where your candle’s flame is bright enough
To rescue me from loneliness’ darkness
Your arms blanket to cold cruelty
Pure heart devoted to you

Light comes to my eyes
Is it real or just another illusion?
It doesn’t matter cause now
this dream can become reality

I can’t only know pain
I’ll chase your light
even if it is in vain
No tears block my sight

But I’ll insist and persist
till bitter end takes me
These drops of love can be my faith
This blank life can fill with a kiss

With the water I’ll rinse my face
and try to remove sadness
I will fake a smile again
And I’ll hide emotions
deep in my hurted heart
